Pharaohs & Fun: A School Trip to the Land of the Nile
Our incredible school trip took us on a journey back time to ancient Egypt! We set off down the majestic Nile River, passing by verdant fields and ancient temples. Our eyes lit up with wonder as we examined the grand pyramids of Giza, imagining the pharaohs whom once governed over this mighty kingdom.
In the evenings, we gathered around bonfires to exchange stories about the mysterious pharaohs and their historical treasures. We even experimented with some authentic Egyptian foods, which were both savory.

Our recent school trip to Cairo was truly an unforgettable experience. We departed for Egypt with excitement and returned with memories that will last a lifetime. During/Throughout/Over our time there, we saw some of the most iconic landmarks in the world, such as the Pyramids of Giza.
The views were incredible, and we gained so much about Egyptian civilization. Besides/Apart from/In addition to the traditional wonders, we also enjoyed some of Cairo's bustling shops, where we bought souvenirs and tasted/sampled/tried delicious local food.
Daily was an exploration. We even joined a desert safari through the Egyptian Desert. This trip was a remarkable opportunity for us to step outside of our comfort zone.
